Explosion in Baghdadi Mosque, US cyber attack on Iranian weapons system, Skydiving plane crash in Hawaii

An explosion rocked a Muslim mosque in Baghdad. resulting in at least 20 casualties. The blast occurred inside the Imam Mahdi mosque in. al-Baladiyat neighbourhood in the eastern suburbs of Baghdad. Worshippers had just finished their Friday prayers and were about to leave the site when the bomb detonated. The exact number of deaths was not immediately clear, however, the explosion was “violent” and that at least 20 people were lying on the ground, covered in blood.
The US launched a cyber-attack on Iranian weapons systems, US reports say. The cyber-attack disabled computer systems controlling rocket and missile launchers. It was in retaliation for the shooting down of a US drone as well as attacks on oil tankers that the US has blamed Iran for. The US has also imposed sanctions President Trump described as “major”.
A skydiving plane crashed killed 11 people. The aircraft crashed and burst into flames just outside a small seaside airport on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. This killed six employees of the company that operated the flight and three of its customers. The identity of the other two victims is unclear. Officials “confirmed there were 11 people on board and no survivors were reported.
