Manchester famed for great football teams, vast shopping at The Trafford center and now sadly known this morning for a Terror attack thata has seen twenty two people confirmed dead and 59 seriously injured after a reported explosion at the Manchester Arena in northern England, where American pop star Ariana Grande was performing.
The explosion was reported at around 10:30 p.m. UK time as the concert drew to an end as patrons were exiting a loud explosion was heard followed by screaming. The exact location of the reported blast is not clear, with a British Transport Police statement suggesting it happened in the arena’s foyer area,just outside. The Manchester Arena tweeted that the incident “took place outside the venue in a public space.”

Ian Hopkins said “We are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise,” . “We are working closely with the national counter-terrorism policing network and UK intelligence partners.”
Ariana took to twitter to express her devastation saying ‘ broken from the bottom of my heart I am so so sorry I dont have words’
“Ariana is due to perform at The O2 on Thursday and Friday and we will advise as soon as we can as to the status of those shows,” it said in a short statement.TMZ now claims Ariana’s tour has been put on hold ‘indefinitely’, meaning her upcoming concerts in Belgium, Poland, Germany and Switzerland will likely be cancelled, or at least postponed.
It came after Ariana’s manager broke his silence for the first time since the incident, which is now being investigated as a terrorist attack.
A statement released by Scooter Braun said he was heartbroken by the event.
