Cardi B has postponed a couple of shows after doctors advised her to get some rest after plastic surgery.
The rapper has called off her shows in El Paso, Texas, that was due to take place tonight and at Maryland’s 92Q Spring Bling Festival over Memorial Day Weekend, which has already been postponed from September.
The 26-year-old originally said that she had called off the gigs due to “circumstances beyond her control,” but it has since been revealed that she hadn’t recovered from plastic surgery that she’d had, as she ‘looked to restore her pre-baby body’.
Her statement continues, “She’s very disappointed as she hates to let her fans down. She reassures them that she will see them in September.”
Cardi B has been very candid about her surgery and sources previously: “I don’t like lying about things.
“Like when you see somebody that had lipo you think that they just go into the doctor’s and like boop, you come out and you look amazing, but it’s actually like a very long process, recovery.
“It actually takes like a little bit more than three or four months.”
Speaking about what she was looking to achieve by having the surgery, Cardi said: “I’ve always had abs.
“I’m a very skinny person so when they taking extra fat out and your skin is tightening more, it’s like my bones are actually showing more.”
