80s pop legends Bananarama have announced that they are set to reunite for their first UK tour in 30 years. Bananarama are a British female pop group formed in London in 1979 by friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward. Their success on both pop and dance charts have earned them a listing in The Guinness Book of Records as the all-female group with the most chart entries in the world. Better know for their song Cruel summer such entries include “It Ain’t What You Do…” , “Really Saying Something” , “Shy Boy” , “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye”, “Robert De Niro’s Waiting…” and “Love in the First Degree

Fahey left the trio back in 1988,when they last performed in the UK at the 1988 BRIT Awards, while the arguments and rows that followed led to Siobhan quitting and forming Shakespeare’s Sister. But they’ve now joined forces once more and will embark on an extensive UK tour at the end of the year.
