The 24-year-old is shooting a new video and is looking for fans to take part. Yet thast not how it sounded when an advert was printed on her behalf.
Rita Ora has outraged the entertainment industry by asking ‘extras’ to appear for FREE in her latest music video.
The singer’s rep has denied any wrong doing claiming she is not asking dancers to take part for free – just fans.
However the ad – which asks for ‘males and females of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities aged 18-35’ – has appeared on a number of casting websites, which are frequented by professionals.
Those who have seen the advert took to Twitter to express upset over the decision.
One wrote: “@RitaOra really rita ora? your production company casting for dancers for your music video.. no pay??? #paythedancers #jokes.”
Another added: “@RitaOra casting dancers for her new music video. Unpaid. Unacceptable. #paythedancers #paytheactors.”
While someone else exclaimed: “Didn’t take @RitaOra as one to disrespect the industry that allowed her her career! @EquityUK #idontworkforfree.”
